Meet the Country Rhythms Team
Dancing is a passion of ours and we would love to share our training, experience and dance abilities with you.
I'm Skip - I have been teaching Country Western Line Dancing on Long Island for approximately 25 years. Prior to that I did dance competition as a member of the Cactus Kickers - Long Island's Country Western competition dance team. I’ve taught Adult Ed classes at Middle Country school district most of those years. I'm currently teaching at Centereach and Mt. Sinai Adult Ed Spring & Fall programs. I also teach at Knights of Columbus in Patchogue (Check the schedule for dates). I previously taught Adult Ed at Bayport-Blue Point, Connetquot, and Westhampton Beach school districts as well as Spirit's Promise Horse Rescue. I've recently taught at local libraries, fundraisers, restaurants & pubs, private parties, Laurel Winery,
and assisted living & nursing homes. I am a member of LICMA - The Long Island Country Music Association - and also a member of the NTA and UCWDC. Dancing is a passion of mine and I would love to have an opportunity to share my training, experience, and dance abilities with you. I am currently working with Linda, who started out as my student over 25 years ago. She has agreed to be part of my Country Rhythms team and helps out with the music, advertising and teaching. Linda is also a member of LICMA. In addition, we also have several students who have volunteered to assist us during classes & other events.
